About me

With a camera in my hands from the age of 8, with a digital SLR camera from the 8th grade of school, with a film from the 28th anniversary.

Film photography is definitely an art: there is no way to slap thousands of pictures in order to choose something successful later, here you need to think about each frame, checking every detail for a long time and endlessly changing the settings.

There is no autofocus in my lenses, so each work fully reflects the world through my eyes.

I work on the body of a camera and glasses of the Japanese brand Pentax, which does not need a long introduction — it is an engineering masterpiece of photo optics of the XX century.

I am constantly hunting for new pieces of glass and expanding my fleet of equipment so that the work becomes more interesting and diverse. Finding worthwhile copies in perfect condition is still a quest, so cherished boxes with equipment come to my collection from all over the world.

I draw inspiration from nature and music. I love to travel and can’t imagine my life without a dog.

Fashion is another big passion of mine. I also became interested in it as a child, looking at glossy magazines during school breaks. Years later, my wardrobe consists of 80% of things sewn according to my own sketches, and recently I have also been styling images of grooms and brides and creating conceptual images on request.

I think that each of us is multifaceted and unique. It is a great miracle for me that I can reveal people from different and sometimes unexpected sides in my work.

If you are impressed by my philosophy, and the film carries something valuable, truthful, warm and even magical for you, as for me, then let’s create art together!
